a blog like this with your information. We will have a lot of fun in my class if you want to learn new things and brush
up on your computer skills. I've even included a list of my favorite links to other sites. LET'S GET STARTED!
I have
read alot about blogs "weblogs" or web sites. My daughter even has one. I thought that my students would love
to make a web page... so I found out how and here I am. You can be creative and express yourself on your web site.
Just make sure it is appropriate for my eyes and your parents too. Ha!

Portfolio Assignment
Requirements
- Assemble your portfolio and add the following:
- Introduction- About yourself, why you came here, what are your goals, role models, future plans...
- Resume- after editing- With NO MISTAKES!
- Cover letter
- Section dividers: Education, Employment, Goals, Awards
- Front Page-"Career Portfolio" with your name. It can be in color. If you save it on disc, I will print it out
on my color printer.
How to
create a BLOG page (personal web page)
- Click on Internet Explorer icon to get on the internet
- Go to www.xanga.com (insert in the address bar)
- On the welcome page, click on "Get Started." Your username will be part of the blog
address.
- Fill in the blanks and submit.
- Follow the instructions on how to design your blog by using the "look and feel" link on
the left.
- Explore the options and the links in this web page.
- Have FUN! Be CREATIVE!
